Bulenox Rule Changes (2026)
Bulenox's two most consequential changes both landed in spring 2025 — a balance cap on every Funded Account and a mandatory path into a single live account after enough Master Account payouts. Both are dated and sourced below.
Balance caps enforced on all Funded Accounts
| Old | No balance cap applied to Funded Account balances. |
|---|---|
| New | Effective April 28, 2025: $25K account → $2,500 cap; $50K → $5,000; $100K → $10,000; $150K → $15,000; $250K → $25,000. Any balance above the cap is paid out rather than left to accumulate. |
Impact on automated strategies: Profit no longer sits in the account as extra drawdown cushion — a funded Bulenox account now trades permanently close to its cap. Position sizing has to assume thin headroom above the floor at all times, not the wider buffer a growing balance used to provide.

Mandatory transition to a single Funded Account after 3 Master payouts
Under the updated Master Account terms, three successful Master Account payouts (subject to risk-department review) trigger a transition to a Funded Account backed by real capital. All active Master Accounts consolidate into that single Funded Account; declining the transition closes the Master Account with no payout issued.
Impact on automated strategies: A multi-account setup running the same algo across several Master Accounts in parallel gets collapsed into one account at transition. Plan position sizing for a single funded account rather than assuming parallel capital indefinitely.
